Football Prep is the app that can help you get into shape to play football. Get in shape to play the game; don't play the game to get in shape. The exercises and schedules contained in this app were created by a certified physical education teacher and former head football coach.

This workout and its routines are unique. They can be accomplished with no special equipment or special facilities. An 8 feet square space and a set of stairs or a fixed step are all you need. Start this routine 6 weeks before your season starts and do your routine 4 times per week, as shown in the schedule included with the app. Register your progress each day in the app's exercise log. You are also encouraged to write notes daily before and after each workout.

A database is maintained within the app containing your daily exercise log data. The data is saved on your device and is not shared with anyone else. In this free version, you can access all of the exercises, the weekly schedule and create and save daily exercise logs. To create reports detailing your workout data and to have the ability to email these reports to yourself, your coach or someone else, you may purchase an in-app upgrade for $1.99.

Each movement or exercise is uniquely designed, allowing you to progress at your own pace. Activities that target the upper body and lower body are included. Start the program by clicking "Introduction" on the home page. Read your way through the pages. Once you reach the specific exercise pages, try each one out to be certain that you understand the movements. These exercises are designed for ages 8 and up.

As with any exercise program, results from Football Prep will vary. Your results will depend on many factors, including your individual exercise history, genetics, personal motivation and dedication. Consult your physician before starting any exercise program.
