Running this app on a Macbook Pro Late 2013 running MacOS Sierra 10.12. The SDSpeed app (v3.0.1-9) had no issues and did exactly as advertised. Just a comment on the micro-SD card I tested : > Model: Silicon Power 128GB up to 75MB/s Read Transfer Speed MicroSDXC UHS-1 Class10 ($34.99 on Amazon) > Useable space reported by SDSpeed was 117.1GB (MacOS reported 125.8GB ExFAT) > Write speed was 15.56 MB/s (comfortably in the UHS-1 range) > Read speed was 54.98 MB/s (not quite the 75MB/s in the product specs)."

Excellent SD card tester ***** (5 of 5 Stars)
Did exactly what I wanted and tested the speed of my SD and MicroSD cards, now I know which cards work best for large file usage like Dslr camera’s and GoPro cams. One on my cards seems to have been faulty and not going near as fast as the other of the exact brand of card, replacement is now on the way.

This little tool sdspeed let's you speed test your USB and SD Flash Drives Cards. There are many Flash Frauds and a need to fight them. This utility can check SD Flash Cards, USB Flash Drive, Pen Drive, Memory Stick. It does an extensive write and read test. So every single bit will be tested if it can be written and afterwards read back. It does this by test for Counterfeit or Fake USB flash drives, and check your USB Flash Drive for errors. It works basically with any USB memory device like USB harddisks.

Fake flash, data corruption from flash memory chips, class speed under performing, fake memory card, fake memory chips altered to lie about their true size (Hacked Memory).
