App Description

In our app you will find 500 flashcards containing American and British slang words, example sentences, pictures and correct pronunciation.

Every language includes such words or phrases and English is not an exception. Slang language is those cool informal words and phrases which native English speaking people use in their everyday conversations. Usually slang is used amongst friends or colleagues who have the same interests or backgrounds, so you must be sure that people you are speaking with could understand you. And you would like to understand them too, of course!

Although some phrases are quite old-fashioned nowadays, young people still use them without even thinking about when they were invented.

Since the majority of these words relate to sex, alcohol, money, human body, relationships and socialising, we need to warn you - you should be very careful with how you use slang terms and whom you use them with, as some people may find some terms offensive.
