Who is a runner? A runner is someone who gives it their all: 110%. They never give up, they keep on going even when they’re out of gas. When runners run, it's all or nothing.

What’s a VDOT? A VDOT is a training number used for running to determine optimum training paces, and it predicts times for different length races based on the time that you input; it accounts for a slower pace over time. While these paces are not guaranteed, they tend to be accurate. The times were created using actual performance and not theoretical equations. RunCalc takes your most recent mile or 5K time and, based on the time, outputs your VDOT along with optimum training paces. This way, you can train to be the best runner possible.

Cross country is a very competitive sport; you need to try your best to be competitive. My cross country coach uses VDOTs to determine our best training pace and what time to shoot for. Using the VDOT, we are able to train far more precisely to become the most competitive runner.

RunCalc isn’t just for shorter long distances, we have values ranging from 1 mile to a marathon. This helps you build up endurance you need for your next race distance, goal distance, or marathon. Using the training data will help you be prepared for long or short distances. With the data output, you will get predictions on a range of race distances.
