What's New
For the astute App-Store release notes reader, you'll have noticed that this is version 2. So why is this one called version 2? Two reasons, the first is: I felt like it. I was tired of looking at version one point this and one point that, it really wears on you.
The second (and more sensical) reason for moving to version 2 is that this update introduces a major new home screen.
When you first open this new version, you'll immediately blackout from visual ecstasy. This will actually happen a few times in a cycle before your body gets used the new home screen (I actually lost a good friend from this so be careful). Seriously, after finishing all of the code without ever needing to run an intermediate app, I ran the finished app on a Tuesday -- when I finally came to, it was Tuesday...of the next week.
The old home screen was a caterpillar, it is now a butterfly. What makes it a butterfly? The Buddy List, that's what. You can now see what all of your friends are up to on Blab. No friends? No problem. We recommend people we think you'll like. Don't want your friends to see what you're up to? Giggity ;) you can just go offline! Personally, the Buddy List is how I find most Blabs now, it's ridiculously fun.
There are some more, smaller features that have been sprinkled about that you'll love, but the thunder belongs to the Buddy List this time around. Shoutout to @derek for being the best design slanger on this side of the Mississippi.
