Well done. You've made it to the end of the working week. You deserve a treat. But you don't want to spend all of your money in one go, right? It's only the middle of the month after all. What you need is a deal. Or, more specifically, you need the very best deal. And that's why you've come to check out our list of the best games currently on sale for iPhone and iPad.

As usual, we've stuck download and review links so that you can get all the info you need before you grab a game. And if you think we've missed out any games that are going cheap, then make sure you let us know in the comments. That way we can all save the same amount of money and have a lovely cake or something at the weekend.

It's Thursday. The fourth day of the week. And more than that, it's the day that most of the new releases hit the App Store. So every Thursday we take a long hard look at the best new games that have landed, so that you can make sure that any money you're spending isn't going to be wasted. After all, that'd be terrible.

There’s an abundance of “free” games out there on the App Store these days, but many of them aren’t actually free. Whether they offer in-game purchases that make playing them a little easier, serve up ads left and right, or some combination of the two, it’s rare to find free games that aren’t trying to monetize you in some way that feels pretty icky. That said, there are a few hidden gems out there that don’t try any of these schemes that are absolutely worth playing. Check out this list below:

Some of the games that we were looking forward to this week have really left us disappointed. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, we're looking at you. But that doesn't mean there aren't some great new additions to the App Store. And it doesn't mean we're not going to do you a round up for you our fearless readers either.

Every week here at 148Apps we like to round up the cream of the crop of the newest games releases on the App Store. We think of it like a public service. There are so many games smashing onto iOS every week that sometimes it's hard to keep track of what's worth picking up and what's worth ignoring.

So that's what I've gone ahead and done. There are some pretty great games out this week, including one stellar release that you really want to be grabbing as soon as possible. Though I'm certainly no stranger to apps, 2015 was the year I took the plunge and played and completed the most diverse list of games in my history as a mobile gamer.

While there was a veritable flurry of releases I'm still trying to keep track of, it's time to make things a little clearer and crown my best games of 2015.
