Think of any feature that one could want from a photography or video app, and ProCamera 7 probably has it covered. It’s a very comprehensive solution ensuring that, for the most part, users shouldn’t have any need to switch to a different app.
The app is well designed and takes seconds to figure out, but offers a surprising amount of depth under the hood. Taking a quick snap is suitably fast, but there are plenty of ways to enhance a photo taking opportunity. One tap of the screen opens up options such as focus and exposure lock, white balance, and aspect ratio adjustments. Other features such as a rapid fire mode, grids, and a tilt meter round off the set, as well as an impressively powerful zoom feature. An anti-shake mode is also included and works quite well.
By doing this, taking a photograph is as complicated or as powerful as the user wants, adding plenty of flexibility depending on the situation.
It’s a similar story with the selection of filters and post-production adjustments. Over 50 filters are included for free, alongside extras that are purchasable via an in-app payment. Each is pretty high quality and attractive to use. This is complimented by typical but no less convenient brightness, saturation, and contrast adjustments, too.
Further functionality stems from the video recording facilities, enabling plenty of control over focus, the FPS used, and how high quality the recording is. Again though, it’s possible to use ProCamera 7 quite simply if one wishes.
Highly flexible and impressively powerful, it’s tough to fault ProCamera 7. At a particularly low sale price at the moment, it’s an even more irresistible proposition, easily earning its rank as one of the finest photography apps out there at the moment.
