This game is an action / strategy game where you have to plan the flight paths of the airplanes coming into the landing strip. Sounds easy hmm? Don’t be too confident, this game is addictive, fun and difficult to land all the planes!
Flight Control puts you in control of the airplanes coming in to land. You need to touch and drag the incoming aircraft, so that they don’t crash into each other and they land on the runway.
This may sound easy but it soon becomes a game of quick thinking strategy. You start to get different types of planes, that require landing in different areas, and they travel at different speeds. This can make planning really difficult and if you don’t plan it well, you’ll crash them into each other.
This game is good because it’s just using simple swipe movements, and has no learning curve. You can just turn it on and get into it. I was pretty surprised because the first time I played it, I didn’t want to stop! You really want to make your number of planes landed better then the last time.
It is taking essentially a simple idea, but the execution of it is so well done. The graphics are great and the game play is addictive. You can play your own music, pause the game, and view the high scores.
I can’t comment on anything that’s bad about this app. The colors are great, the music works really well with it, and the controls are easy. Perhaps, I found it was a bit difficult to get past a certain number of planes, so it would be nice if you had a few ‘lives’ so you could try again.
The only other thing I would like is maybe some expansion to the game. I would love to have more runways and levels, so that if i land 30 planes, I am promoted to a new level. (or something like that) If that aspect would be incorporated then I think this game would have far more scope.
Overall for the price I think this is a terrific little game. It’s easy, fun for all ages and addictive enough to keep you wanting more. I’m just hoping they give me more levels!
