Dungelot is a series of games that will test your patience, and the latest installment, Dungelot: Shattered Lands, is no different.

Here are some important tips for Dungelot vets and beginners alike to go far in Shattered Lands:

Take a moment between taps

It is so easy to die in Shattered Lands from tapping away idly on the dungeon screen. Make sure you take a beat between taps to save yourself from careless errors.

Shops are Important

Shops in Shattered Lands are more important than ever before, making them uniquely vital for survival as you make your way through this dungeon-crawler.

Shop floors offer you the opportunity to nab coins from crates (seriously, try tapping them), rest up to gain health, and sell all your useless items for things that will suit you better as you dive deeper.

Not every run is a progress run

There will be times in Shattered Lands when you just need to bank up some gold. Because of the importance of shops, it's a lot easier in the long run to grind out coins so you can comfortably afford everything you'll need on a serious run.

Planning which runs you want to go for broke and which ones you want to bank can save you some serious frustration with Shattered Lands.

Play every dungeon, but don't try to clear every floor

In the moment of any given dungeon, it's almost always wise to skip things in order to get to the next floor. Trying to take on every skeleton is an easy path to an untimely death.

On the other hand, in every act, you'll want to take on as many side dungeons as possible to prepare yourself for bosses. By grinding out side dungeons, you'll unlock new characters and items, which can really help open up your options and make the game a smoother ride.
