148Apps is part of a family. A big family of sites that make sure you're always up to date with all the portable gaming news. Just like a real family, I guess. I don't know, my mum never told me anything about Candy Crush to be fair.

Anyway, every week we look at the best posts from around the network, in order to make sure that you're squeezing every drop of goodness from the Steel Media sites. This week is no different. So have a read, see what you've missed, and come back in seven days for another round up.

Pocket Gamer

Pocket Gamer had features aplenty this week. It all kicked off on Jon Jordan's post about mobile games and controllers, which you can read by clicking here. Then Susan Arendt explained why Agent A is super cool.

Then the site had a look at which of the two versions of PUBG that have come out for iPhone and iPad in China is the best. And some lunatic called Harry took time out from his busy schedule to explain why Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is better than Monster Hunter World.

Android Rundown

On our Android-focused sister site, Tre Lawrence took a look at Mad Skills BMX 2. Did he like what he saw? Well you're going to have to click this link to find out, aren't you?

AppSpy

AppSpy is all about the news, and this week was no different. The big one this week was the release of Glitch Dash, which Christian Valentin seemed to be pretty damned excited about.

Not as excited as he is about Dark Echo though. That was the site's hidden gem of the week, and you can find out all about it by clicking right here.

AppSpy video

In the wonderful world of video, James Gilmour is king. This week, he went ahead and reviewed the really rather excellent Alto's Odyssey...

And he also cast his eye over the new Tekken mobile game. It's not out in the US until next week, so check out what James thought before you get it...
