Jayadratha
Jayadratha is one of the most infamous characters found in the Mahabharata. He terrorized the helpless and cowered before the mighty. The encounter between him and Arjuna, the valiant Pandava, described in the Jayadratha-Vadha Parva (a sub-section of the Drona Parva of Mahabharata), makes absorbing reading.
Jayadratha was responsible for the death of Arjuna's son Abhimanyu. Arjuna set out to avenge his son's death and the cowardly Jayadratha took shelter behind the massive army of Duryodhana.
The manner in which Arjuna surmounted the obstacles put in his way in his final encounter with Jayadratha is narrated in this Amar Chitra Katha.
