Ugly Americans is back! Fan of the show will be excited to hear that Comedy Central has partnered with Pocket Gems to bring 4 new story arcs (that's 40 chapters) to iOS.

The new game lets players take on the role of Mark Lilly as he tries to help new American citizens while they acclimatize to life in New York City. The four featured stories are: Escape From Neverland, Single White Shapeshifter, Attack of the Praying Womantis, and A Bronx Demon Tale.

Known for its crude and hilarious TV shows, Comedy Central this morning released the first version of its iOS app. As goes with many other TV station apps, Comedy Central allows you to watch a huge amount of full-length TV shows - that is, if you sign in with your TV provider account. And sadly, only select partnered TV provider accounts are going to work with the app (notably, Dish Network is missing).

But if you really want to catch up on the latest episodes of The Colbert Report, South Park, and other shows, this is the app to go to. These full episodes will carry ads (even after logging in), but you won't watch as many as if you were watching live TV. The app also features stand-up specials, archived TV show selections, and the ability to share clips with your friends.

CC: Stand-Up is a new, free, app from Comedy Central that provides you with a library full of stand-up from your favorite comedians. The app lets you search from a list of over 700 comedians and 6,000 videos, and includes playlists based on topic, recent Comedy Central specials, or "best-of" from popular comedians. Let the giggles begin!

It's important to take note of what's going on in politics, especially near an election, but that doesn't mean that we can't mock the process and what's said. Hugely popular cable TV station Comedy Central has clearly taken note of it as it has just released its Indecision Election Companion.

The app provides fans with exclusive jokes, interactive content, photo galleries and more. There's an iOS-optimized version of Comedy Central's "Indecision" blog, along with a 2012 Election Calendar and an exclusive "Peanut Gallery" commentary feature that offers exclusive live commentary from the Indecision bloggers and special guests. It also lets users share their reactions to the debate.

It's all suitably entertaining with a keen satirical edge as it covers the spectacular highs and extreme lows of the election. Even for those not overly interested in politics, it should make the whole thing more accessible and interesting.
