Frogger Free Pounces Onto iOS

Back before there was such a thing as high definition visuals, there was a little green frog that hopped its way into the world's heart.  All this poor little overgrown tadpole wanted to do was get back home to his quiet pond, but some jerk decided to construct a road and lumber mill while he was taking a nap.  What jerks!  By now it is pretty obvious that thirty years later, he is still trying to get home, so why not lend him a hand?

Commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the Frogger franchise, Konami just released Frogger Free for iOS.  As the name implies, this is a free game that is available for all iOS devices, and is meant to revitalize a game that has been stuck in the Atari era for far too long. Three new game modes will help to keep things fresh for veterans of the brand, so give it a download and help usher Frogger into the new decade.

Asteroids: Gunner by Atari Hitting iOS Devices Very Soon

Posted by Jennifer Allen on November 8th, 2011

Atari has sent us a rather disturbing email today. A cluster of asteroids are propelling their way towards planet Earth! Uh oh! Fortunately, the ship that saved us all back in 1979 in the original Asteroids has had a few upgrades in the past 30 years and it's back again.

Coming soon will be free-to-play, dual-stick shooter Asteroids: Gunner. It'll offer three galaxies to explore with 150 waves of asteroids and aliens to wipe out. Three different spacecrafts will also be available: the Miner, the Bomber and the Dart and plenty of upgrades are on offer. New galaxies and upgrades will be purchaseable with Space Bucks, while leaderboard fans will enjoy the all-important Game Center and Open Feint support.

For now, we've just got a selection of screenshots of what's to come, but I strongly suggest keeping an eye on the Asteroids: Gunner Facebook page as well as here for more information as and when we get it.
