Ace of Arenas is a mobile MOBA that's been built from the ground up with its chosen platform in mind.

For a start, the touchscreen controls don't try and simulate mouse play. So, instead of tapping the screen to move your character and use your skills, you use your thumb and perform a series of swipes.

It's also much faster in pace thanks to the new Fast and Furious Mode, which grants you super buffs and increased movement speed to ensure matches last under 10 minutes.

We reached out to Gaea Mobile's Jason Dahlberg to learn more about the development of Ace of Arenas, and how the developer managed to so successfully port the MOBA experience onto mobile.

The iOS and Android MOBA sensation Ace of Arenas launched back in September 2015, and has had a startling amount of new content added to it since.

In total, five major updates have been released since then, and the game has expanded to North America, Europe, and Asia, with four new languages added to reach a vaster audience.
