Shadows Over Innistrad continues the story in Magic Duels on iOS right now

Magic Duels has just been updated with a massive new expansion that adds all new story content and over 300 unique cards to the iOS trading card game.

It's titled Shadows Over Innistrad, is out right now in the App Store, and is themed on a power struggle between good and evil.

You'll also be fighting fierce werewolves in their forest home, noble vampire families, and the Frankenstein-style monsters created by crazy scientists in their secret laboratories. It will take all of your skills to succeed.

Fans of Magic Duels are likely to be more excited by the prospect of new cards though, and there are over 300 of them in this update. They're based on Magic: The Gathering's Shadows Over Innistrad and Oath of the Gatewatch sets.

There's more content like skill quests but you'll have to head on over to the App Store to experience it all.

If you're not sure what Magic Duels is, it's a mobile trading card game based on the Magic: The Gathering brand that lets you experience exciting moments from the franchise's history in Story Mode. You can also battle against your friends in Battle Mode, or with them in Two-Headed Giant Battle.

There's an offline practice mode which provides some innovation, as you can safely test out your decks against an AI opponent until you're happy with it.

Magic Duels is also the best way to get into Magic: The Gathering thanks to the handy tutorial which teaches you how to play better than ever before.
