Launched on the campus of Case Western Reserve University in Fall 2010, the Social Justice Institute works to understand and address the root causes of inequality. Through its support of research, scholarship, community bridge-building, and ambitious programming, the Social Justice Institute inspires, educates, and initiates opportunities for engagement with the goal of moving people from being spectators to contributors toward progressive social change. SJI believes that to advance a more just society, people can – and must -- make a difference in their communities and in the world.
