With each swipe, Autoimagica generates a brand new cellular automaton. Cellular Automata are simple programs that can produce intricate and often beautiful structures. The creation of this app was inspired by Stephen Wolfram’s A New Kind of Science.
All computations are performed on-the-fly and each is as unique as a snowflake. In fact, Autoimagica is capable of producing more cellular automata than the number of stars and planets in the universe. Experiment with color to enhance the visual experience.
