The Fremantle Map App is a Travel Map and Visitor Guide to the historic Port City of Fremantle. The City is located at the mouth of the beautiful Swan River on the southern coast of Western Australia catching its famous sea breeze (the Fremantle Doctor) from the Indian Ocean. Fremantle enjoys a pleasant balmy climate, more typical of the Mediterranean and is only 20 kms from the state's capital City Perth. In this Map App points of interest are categorized with short summaries,instant contact information GPS directions, website links and much more

The Fremantle Map App shows the location of many features found in the Port City together with inspiring images. The categories of interest include a variety of Historic & Heritage listed places to see, and events to experience, with links to the relevant website.

Transport options are provided from sightseeing on a tourist tram - to hiring a well tuned top of the range bicycle. An excellent range of choice accommodation can be found in the App plus a directory of dining options with some select restaurants advertised.

Never miss an event! The latest local exhibitions and happenings in the City are provided via website links from the Map-App to current calendars of events hosted by the Fremantle Arts Centre & the Fremantle Visitors Centre. (Alerts are also send when there is an important event coming up).There is an up to-date RSS Feed of local News Bulletins as received from the City of Fremantle.

Popular Beaches and Public Restrooms are located and FREE WiFi HOTSPOTS and Internet Cafe's offering FREE WiFi are listed and mapped.

The Fremantle Map App integrates with Google Maps online. Points of interest can be saved in a handy 'Favourites' list.
