App Description

The Gov.mt app delivers a diverse set of information from government sites such as Gov.mt. Information sets which are currently published on Gov.mt and which can be made available to this application through RSS include; Government Gazette, Employment Opportunities, Tenders and Contracts, Press Releases, Services and Information, Life Events, Communities, About Malta and any standard RSS feeds made available from any government site.

The mobile app provides the user with a choice of either English or Maltese version depending on the language the content is provided in. It also provides a rich user interface that is updated remotely without the need to download an updated version of the app. Users can publicly access information published through RSS without any modification to the source content. Users can also select their favorite information sets and store the selection to their mobile device. The mobile app is capable of caching data locally on the mobile device to enable offline access to the content. The Gov.mt Mobile App is available on iOS, Android and Windows Mobile and addresses various mobile devices with different screen resolutions.
