Many companies and public institutions send staff to the eceee Industrial Summer Study for three days of intense training in energy efficiency. Here, they meet experts with up-to-date real knowledge of energy efficiency, both in terms of technology and policy. The week will help participants to better understand what works and what doesn’t – and this App will help you to keep track of all the events that take place at the Summer Study. The App will be updated during the Summer Study as informal sessions develop as well as after with presentations etc.
Where practical experience and evidence-based knowledge meet
The eceee Industrial Summer Study is the only comprehensive European event that explores all roads towards increased energy efficiency in industry. Here, practitioners, researchers, policy makers and NGO’s meet in a setting of formal presentations, informal workshops and intense networking. The papers and the results from the Summer Studies are regularly used by the European Commission and other EU institutions, not to mention their benefits at the national level, for their policy analysis and programme monitoring.
The eceee Industrial Summer Study covers all industrial sectors, from manufacturing and food processing to heavy process industry, and it covers large companies as well as SMEs.
Beyond a traditional conference
The eceee Industrial Summer Study is not your standard energy efficiency conference. It offers a mix of practical hands-on experience and scientific stringency in a setting ideally suited for networking and information exchange.
One of eceee’s aims is to keep building on the basis of evidence-based knowledge, analysis and information, while helping to develop a community of industrial energy efficiency experts.
