App Description

With a total of 75,612 characters, this dictionary is the world's most comprehensive Chinese character dictionary ever created on a mobile device.

POWERFUL SEARCH FUNCTION
Search Characters by:
- Pinyin (with or without tones)
- Stroke count
- Radical (214 Kanxi Radicals)
- Unicode (i.e. 0x4321)
- Chinese character (handwriting and pinyin)

SOUND
- Pronounces all sounds of the Chinese language.

DETAILS
For each character, lists (when available):
- Definition
- Unicode (i.e. 0x4321)
- Stroke count
- Words (dictionary)
- Pinyin (with sound)
- Variants (traditional or simplified)
- Japanese pronunciation

NOTE TO USERS: in order to input Chinese characters using handwriting, the built-in handwriting keyboard HAS to be enabled via the Settings menu:
- Press the Home button
- Hit the Settings icon
- Hit General -> Keyboard -> Keyboard -> Add New Keyboard -> Chinese Simplified Handwriting.
