New Features Added in v1.5

General
Version 1.5 is a major update with very many changes to the user interface. There is a major rework of all the code internally, it fixes several serious issues, and is recommended for all users.

New Feature: Non-exclusive Selection of Card Editions

A feature of the original App was was that cards were viewed in their Editions, which made checking prices very much faster than in other similar Apps: just as intended!

This is still the way the cards are organised in Loot, but the interface has been completely rewritten in version1.5 to allow users to browse cards in all the Editions of Magic The Gathering™ Standard Format at the same time.

For example, a user might select all the cards for Return to Ravnica, Gatecrash and Theros; or just the cards in the Magic 2014 Core Set and Dragon’s Maze, etc.

New Feature: Price Update Activation Moved

Prices were previously updated using the ‘pull to refresh’ mechanism in the main table view of the cards. This has now moved to the price history list view which provides much better context to the user for their decision to update update.

New Feature: Card Name/Latest Price in Detail Views

In the Card Detail/Price History view, the nav bar title now shows either the selected card’s name or the card’s latest price as appropriate.

Issues & Bugs Fixed in v1.5

Issue: the user’s Loot List (personal selections) were not correctly shown when switching between card Editions; now fixed.
Issue: the App could hang if user’s selected a different App whilst the price update sequence was still running in the background; now fixed.
Issue: updating prices for the Gatecrash edition sometimes caused an incomplete set to be returned; now fixed.
Issue: the Back button in the Card Detail/Price History view was sometimes obscured (though still functional) if the card had a particularly long name; now fixed.
Issue: some card images were missing from Loot, including Sylvan Carytid, Boon of Erebos and Breaching Hippocamp; now fixed.
