We are now verifying this App on iOS8, iPhone6 and 6Plus.

MAPPLE-LINK is a free application that provides travelers in Japan with offline maps and travel guides.
You can put your travel guide in your smartphone and take it with you conveniently.
Besides that, since it comes with rich functions like tour/hotel reservation menu and translation unified function, coupon etc., you can use it as a tourist support application from planning before your travel until your travel destination.

Please note that due to introducing a new Japan Travel and Tourism app "DiGJAPAN" , we have desided to close our service MAPPLE-LINK by the end of march 2015.
We greatly appreciate your support and thank you for always choosing our service.
Please note that re-installing the app and re-downloading contents would not be possible by April 1, 2015 onwards.

* You need an internet connect to be able to use the functions of (5)～(7).
■ Method of Use (See the instructions in the application for details.)
(1) Launch MAPPLE-LINK, download the travel guide in “Download travel guides.”
(2) Select the travel guide you want to use from “View the downloaded travel guides.”
(3) Individual menus are as follows.
“Spot search”: Search for listings by genre or name.
“Favorites”: Display a list of items registered as “Favorites.”
“View map”: Display offline maps and check your current position.
“Travel information”: View useful local information, such as descriptions of the area’s characteristics, currency, and simple conversation.
“Contact”: Contact individual areas.
(4) You can use functions in “View map” such as displaying your current location, or displaying the line indicator or the direction indicator functions to your destination using the GPS function of your device, do nearby spot searches, and register any area to your favorites.

* Note
- This application supports iPhone5s, 5c, 5, 4s, 4.
- Use with iPhone 3G, 3GS, or the iPad and iPod touch series is not recommended.
- “MAPPLE-LINK” is the name of an official free service operated by Shobunsha Publications, Inc., for use with smartphones.
- A minimum of 200 MB of free memory space is required to download travel guides.
