The book gives an introduction to the Guqin’s history, structure, methods to tune up the instrument and more. Instructions on fingering are detailed and some music scores have been included as well for readers’ practice. Numbered musical notations are also available to meet the requirements of the mass of Guqin lovers who cannot succeed in learning directly from the teachers.
