Since its inception, The MINI International has embodied the values of the car it celebrates and the people who love it – innovation, versatility, progress. That’s why this issue marks a new beginning for the magazine; it will be the last to appear in print format, because we are going digital! The MINI International will return in a new guise. But before we accelerate into tomorrow, we’re bringing you a wealth of MINI tales from around the world: a river surfer in Munich goes for the burn with his MINI John Cooper Works; a modern-day Barber of Seville known as Lord Jack Knife makes the cut with his MINI Countryman Park Lane; and we make a spectacle of ourselves by looking through the augmented reality lenses of Dezeen x MINI Frontiers designer Keiichi Matsuda. It’s been a great ride so far, but the best is yet to come.
