Satoe Tone is the winner of Bologna Children's Book Fair International Award for Illustration 2013.
This is a deep story and a little unsettling.
It tells the story of a little bird that is different from the rest. He can’t swim, sing, fish or fly.
His days are filled with failures and almost successes , whilst his brothers grow and learn.
He finds himself alone but meets someone who needs him and so he discovers his gifts : generosity and perseverance. Even without flying he can become the unmoving heart of a small living world.
But it isn’t the end, it is only the beginning of another life.
