KEY FEATURES
* View and compare crime data for more than 4,400 colleges and universities in the United States
* Access timely and important resources on campus safety and security
* Get breaking news in university and college safety and security; sign up for campus specific news and information
* Information on dozens of not-for-profit organizations specializing in campus safety and security.

The raw crime statistics displayed through Campus Sentinel come from the US Department of Education, and are collected in accordance with the federal law known as the Clery Act. The app's methodology for displaying the information provides depth, dimension and ease of understanding to the data. In this way, Campus Sentinel aids parents and students with understanding the safety of a particular campus in relation to its self-reported crime statistics, and in comparison with other campuses.

Crime statistics, in and of themselves, should not be the sole criteria in assessing campus safety and security. See the About Section in the app for more information.

NOTE: Access to the resources in the Resources Desk requires an active Internet connection. The data displayed is the most recent 3 years available from the US Department of Education. See the FAQ in the app for more information.
