App Description

Buddy Safe allows you to easily track the progress of your loved one's journey to a destination from your iPhone. Install this app on your device, and it will text message your buddies, notifying them of your arrival to a chosen location. Adding a friend is easy – just send a request. Once your buddy accepts your invitation to use the Buddy Safe App, you will then be able to see that buddy’s location on a list or on a map.

Use Buddy Safe to keep track of your traveling companions when you’re on vacation. Or to see if the kids are home from school. Or to find the friends you’re meeting for dinner.

Using Buddy Safe is as easy as counting 1, 2, 3 and we mean it literally…

1) Add the destination from the map interface or by typing in to the textbox

2) Choose Buddies (one or more) you want to notify about your trip and whereabouts.

3) Select a tentative time by when you will leave or reach to destination.

And yes, you are done. Tap on Begin Trip button and it will track your progress in terms of location and time. If you don’t start the trip by the tentative time you chose, it will send a message to the buddies you selected to notify. Same thing will happen if you don’t reach to your destination by selected time.

If you see your trip getting delayed or cancelled, use Pause Trip or Postpone from the Trip Screen.

Use favorite for the trips you do on frequently basis. For example if you want to track your child from school to home on daily basis, create a trip and save it to favorites.
