Staraoke is a unique concept that combines three things kids love: SINGING, GAMES and FRIENDS!!! It’s a fully updated version of the original Staraoke, which was chosen as “Best Kids App Ever” finalist last year.

This is a great game for those children who want to learn to sing or improve their singing. Staraoke is an iPhone game where a player controls a character on the screen with their voice. The Staraoke software recognizes the singer's pitch. If you sing correctly, the character stays on the path and you ramp up points. You can sing on your own or have a Karaoke competition between four players. This isn't just a iOS game, it's fun for the whole family.

Staraoke is ideal for kids between 4 – 9 years old, but younger ones might want some help from their parents if they don’t know the songs yet. Players can easily improve their singing by seeing what scores points, but most importantly this game is pure fun. And the game makes kids’ parties go with a real swing with its four-player competition mode. Normally when the first four kids have started singing, the next kids are already lining up for their turn. Try it yourself!

Included with this Staraoke game are four popular kids' songs: "Brother John", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and "Old MacDonald had a Farm". An option to purchase more songs is now included as well.

True fans of this game might want use a headset or dedicated iPhone/iPod Touch compatible microphone. Some pointers to get the best results: don’t cover your iPhone/iPod Touch microphone with anything, hold the phone close to your mouth and of course don’t forget to sing loud enough for your microphone to pick up the sound of your voice (as if you would want to sing in a whisper). You should also adjust the volume of your iPhone/iPod Touch so that it is not too loud or your voice will be drowned out by the music.
