I'm a transplanted Easterner now based in the heart of Hollywood, a stone's throw from the intersection of Highland and Sunset. LA: Beach to Blvd is very much a work in progress. Suggestions, big ups, corrections and criticisms are welcome, and additions will be made monthly. If you have a favorite place I've overlooked, please feel free to point me in the right direction.

I've been writing professionally for decades, and I'm an award-winning writer in travel trade circles for my coverage of the Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico, the South Pacific and Asia, as well as California, where I'm based. Travel assignments have taken me to 53 countries.

In June 2010, I created go! Destination Marketing, principally to produce e-newsletters targeted towards travel agents, with the aim to excite agents about a destination, while simultaneously giving them something to sell.
