Are you a beginner guitarist or have you played for a while but is still struggling to find your way around your guitar’s fretboard?
Being able to visualise the notes as they are laid out on the fretboard will greatly improve your understanding and ability to play the guitar; it will take your musicianship to new levels, making it easier to improvise and play with other musicians. And so on. But we know - spending time to actually learn it is boring and repetitive. Especially when it’s so much more fun to just play!
Thankfully, Frets gives you some much needed and useful tools and exercises to finally unlock the secret of the fretboard:
- ALL NOTES: View all notes on the fretboard
- FIND THE NOTE: Find any location of a random note.
- WHAT NOTE IS THIS: Identify a note in a specific location using this exercise.
- CHORDS: The chord library lets you look up all of the most common chords, such as Major, minor, sevenths, diminished and suspended chords, with fingering info
Choose to focus your learning on just one string, several strings or all strings.
