App Description
The Hewitt School app provides parents, guardians, staff, and faculty members with information they need, conveniently formatted for their mobile devices. The information presented in the app is drawn from Finalsite, the platform that hosts the Hewitt website.
Privacy controls restrict sensitive information to authorized users. You must be a current Hewitt parent, guardian, or employee to view the directory and calendars. Users without login credentials are welcome to use the app to read news and blog posts.
The app includes:
• News articles
• Calendar events (including school holidays, the block schedule, and grade-specific events)
• Community directory
• Links to Hewitt’s social media accounts and other resources
After logging in, users are able to:
• Browse calendars for information about upcoming events, and filter calendars to see the events most relevant to them
• Quickly find faculty, staff, parent, and student contact information
• Call or email a community member directly from their device’s phone and email apps
