App Description
The “Relax” apps (this app and the Augmented Reality app available elsewhere in iTunes) were created based on the suggestions of SCSU Spec Ed student teachers, SCSU Spec Ed faculty and District 742 Special Ed school teachers. All these educators noted that children, especially those with special needs, often get overwhelmed and need some quiet time to relax and process the situation or problem they are facing.
These apps were simply designed to give everyone a safe place to escape to for a short while. Safe visuals, interesting characters and coded music all combine to help everyone relax quickly.
