BabyGEMS helps pregnant women track their baby’s health through every step of pregnancy – with tips to help you stay healthy and tools for after your baby arrives.

This is an exciting time as you prepare to welcome a new life into the world. It’s also a very important time to take care of your health. BabyGEMS from Horizon NJ Health will be there for you and baby up to age 2 to help you get the care you need quickly and easily.

It’s easy to use – just enter your due date. The BabyGEMS app sets up your pregnancy To Dos check list and personal Feed. When you see something you want to talk to your doctor, midwife or nurse about, you can add it to your Q-List so you can easily remember it at your next appointment.

Plus you can use BabyGEMS to:
- Connect with Horizon NJ Health resources for pregnancy and early childhood
- Read milestones for each step in the pregnancy journey
- Get week-by-week updates + plus daily tips in your Feed
- Track your baby’s due date
- Use the weight gain calculator, which syncs with your Apple Health Kit App
- Look up symptoms and issues in the Learn Library
- Get personalized healthy pregnancy recommendations and To Dos
- Use the Movement Tracker to count baby’s kicks

After your BABY is born, use the BabyGEMS app to record your baby’s growth with the feeding tracker, diaper tracker and growth tracker. From the Feed and Learn Library, BabyGEMS also gives:
- Important clinical topics for newborns & young children from 0 to 2 years old like nutrition, dental health & developmental milestones by age
- Tips for navigating new parenthood, including postpartum depression screening
- Life hacks for new parents like sleep, first week with baby at home, swaddling & traveling

BabyGEMS connects you with Horizon NJ Health’s Mom’s GEMS member program, so moms are “Getting Early Maternity Services.” BabyGEMS supports Horizon NJ Health members from pregnancy to parenthood. Simply visit the Explore screen to manage the health needs of your young family.
