Hospital Direct ® is a tool made specifically for transport providers to assist in patient care. Many times, it is difficult to know what floor a specialty is on and only a general location is given such as Interventional Radiology. Large hospitals could have five Intensive care units in different places throughout the hospital. Long distance transports are difficult when unfamiliar with the hospital location or even finding an ambulance bay. Pull up the hospital by name and all that information can be answered in quick easy reference to quickly execute the call in a timely manner. This app is not just for field staff because communication centers may need to also find information for crew when traveling long distance. Such as contact information for hospitals or other area providers. When not on a call the app is always updated with EMS news to keep everyone on the front lines informed.
