App Description
This App calculates the minimum diameter needed for a Shaft subject to Torsion, Bending Loads or by both simultaneously to make sure don’t exceed the decided acceptable stress level.
You can use Imperial or Metric Units as well.
Inputs:
# Torque acting on the Shaft [Nm or Ibf Ft]
# Bending moment acting on the Shaft [Nm or Ibf Ft]
# Acceptable Stress Level [MPa or Ksi]
Output:
# Minimum Diameter needed [mm or In]
