About the Author
I moved to Istanbul in 2004. I started discovering the city with a traditional printed guidebook in hand. Don’t forget, smartphones haven't been invented yet. Those guidebooks had great information on all the monuments, but what they failed to do was guide me through all the tourist traps and tell me how to best get around Istanbul. I also noticed that those guidebooks were quickly outdated. This made me start Istanbul Insider, to help tourist make the most of their trip with the latest and most up-to-date information at their fingertips.
