Introducing the Worsley Golf Club App - Buggy
A meeting at Monton Memorial School, on 20th March 1894, instigated by local businessman Mr H Stafford Golland, led to the inauguration of Worsley Golf Club. A site for the course has already been ear-marked at Broadoak Park; part of the Earl of Ellesmere's estate. The newly formed committee duly appointed Mr Golland as Secretary and later the Earl of Ellesmere as President.
Founded in 1894 and redesigned in the 1930s by the legendary James Braid, Worsley Golf Club is located just six miles west of Manchester amongst some of the most beautiful and scenic parkland in the region. The course is characterised by gently rolling fairways lined with an attractive blend of mature trees.Our team of professional green keepers take immense pride in ensuring the course is always presented in immaculate condition.
