At Canterbury Blue™, we want to help you save time and money on both up cycling and re loving old furniture that might have seen better days by making available to you an affordable easy to use furniture paint. Canterbury Blue own brand of paint EZ2 Paint™ "Easy to Paint" is a water based, chalk paint alternative that sticks to almost anything and is very easy to use. Yes, it is true you can paint it directly onto high varnish, raw wood, laminate, glass, metal, cane and so much more. You are only limited by your imagination .NO PRE SANDING REQUIRED.
Canterbury Blue is a family owned company on the North side of Brisbane, selling furniture paints, waxes and brushes plus teaching you how to stretch your budget just a little bit further. Being just as budget conscious as you Canterbury Blue™ is absolutely committed to providing a quality product at an affordable price.
More than that, we are utterly dedicated to serving our customers both online and in store. Being as keen and excited as you about finding bargains and creating magic we LOVE to hear your stories and see your before and after pictures. You will find both Juliana and Aaron to be very generous with their knowledge of painting furniture. Aaron is also a business coach specialising in cottage industry startup businesses so he will point you in the right direction if you are thinking of starting your own furniture up cycling business to earn some extra lipstick money.
Canterbury Blue™ offers to help fellow shabby chic lovers learn how to do it the easy way using EZ2 Paint™ with regular workshops held at Canterbury Blue ™ head office. Our paints are remarkably easy to use and require no sanding or priming prior to use, but everything is easier with a little bit of help. We’re here to provide it. Basic workshops are on $99 per person, you are encouraged to bring your own small piece of wooden furniture to give a complete makeover under the guidance of Juliana. Advance classes and private tuition are also available.
It is important to remember that you do not need to be crafty or artistic to use EZ2 Paint™ If you can hold a brush you can create change and start painting up a storm on your old furniture. Remembering there is no right or wrong and that drip marks, brush strokes and indiscretions are what we call character and they are embraced. Creating imperfection is our perfection.
