**About Khatwa**


Our Philosophy

Khatwa children will learn by engaging in activities that are real and meaningful to them - activities that encourage the development of skills, knowledge, ways of thinking and learning. We teach children the necessary skills that will enable them to grasp complex subjects such as science and mathematics in an environment that encourages learning through social relationships.

Program

Khatwa program is similar to that adopted by The Early Years Foundation Stage in USA and UK.
It consists of six areas of learning:

1. Personal, social and emotional development
2. Language literacy and communication skills
3. Mathematical development
4. Knowledge and understanding of the world
5. Physical development
6. Creative development

The six areas of learning are based on the five developmental domains: social, emotional, communication/language, cognitive, and physical; they are used as a basis for early childhood education and Kindergarten programs in USA, UK and many other countries.

Our program is a mix of the following two methodologies:

1. Centers Approach
In this program, young children build or “construct” their knowledge of the world — finding out how the world works through their own direct experience with people, objects, events, and ideas .Learning centers allow children the opportunity to explore, problem-solve, investigate and work together as a team. There are specific periods in each day for small group times, large group times, and for children to play independently at the different learning centers available throughout the classroom.

2. Montessori Philosophy
Montessori philosophy emphasizes learning through all five senses. The Montessori method of education is designed to take full advantage of the children's desire to learn and their unique ability to develop their own capabilities. Children need adults to expose them to the possibilities in their lives, but it is the children themselves that must choose how to respond to these possibilities.

Our team

Our staff consists of highly qualified professionals experienced in dealing with children. and specialties is provided.

Working Hours

Regular Working hours: 8:00 to 16:00,
extra hours service is available to 18:00 (includes hot meal),
& extra morning hour service is available from 7:00 to 8:00.


Healthy Food Menu

We provide three healthy meals on a daily base: breakfast, lunch and snack.


Ages
From 3 month - to 5 years.


School Students services

For Ages from 5 Years to 8 Years, Winter Camp, Summer Camp & After School Services.

Transportation

transportation service is available; Madinaty, Sherouk & Rehab City.


Information

information/registration time starts from 10:00 to 14:00.

Orientation

Orientation/nursery tour is only available from Sunday to Wednesday, and orientation time starts from 10:30 to 11:00,(a personal ID is required).
