*** How to start the iMessage game:
1. Open iMessage
2. Choose the iMessage contact you'd like to play against.
3. Press A, the App Store button.
4. Press the Play button on the bottom of iMessage.
5. Choose the game type and grid size.
6. Arrange your ships on the grid and press "Play."
7. Send your message
Once your friend gets your message and sets up their grid, you'll receive a message and the rounds start! ***

Remember hiding from your teachers to play Battleship with pencil and paper? You know students are doing the same thing today, but hey - it's 2017! It's time to take the good old paper and pencil game and make it new with Battleship on your iMessage!

The basic idea of the game is tried and true. Install it, choose the game type and grid size, send an invite to your friend on iMessage, and play.

There are two game types: “Training” and “Championships." Train as much as you want to, then when you're ready, play in Championships to prove you're the best Battleship player or defend your flag!

Training and Championship games each have their own Leaderboards. Training boards show details on wins by you and your friends. The Championship boards show details on the top 25 players. If you're not in the top 25 yet, your rank is shown separately just below the leaderboard.

Every move is made through iMessage. You can see the battlefield and each action right in your iMessage screen. It's easy to learn, and if you've played the paper/pencil version, you'll pick this one right up! If you’ve never played, no worries, it's so simple to understand, anyone can figure it out!
