App Description
Spot is the best social map to help you see everything happening around you, based on the places people are at in the real world.
Friends: The app’s main display is a map that shows where your friends are.
Emoji map: In addition to your friends, we’ve developed a heat map of where people are in the city/community, and layered in basic levels of information that people feel comfortable sharing, which is displayed in emojis (i.e. the mutual friends you have with people in that area/place, their networks like school/workplace, their age/gender, places that have a high density of people going there).
Place information: People can tap on their friends and the emojis on the map to see the basic demographics of people who are there. How many total people are there? What’s the girl/guy ratio? How long’s the line? How’s the music/vibe? Based on the place information, we’ll send you relevant notifications so you can show up at just the right time.
Place views: People can upload and view videos/photos that are tied directly to the place, and stitched together, so you can see what’s happening from all perspectives.
