App Description
The LifeLink of Georgia Funeral Home/Coroner/Medical Examiner app was created to help build a closer-knit community among members and provide links to important, relevant information: you can join conversations, share photos, learn about events, and find contact info for all members.
LifeLink of Georgia is the non-profit community service organization responsible for the recovery or organs and tissue throughout the state of Georgia, as well as two counties in South Carolina in order to save and improve the lives of patients in need of life-saving and life-improving transplantation. We work closely with hospital staff, the community and individual donor families to accomplish our mission, and maintaining relationships with medical personnel – including funeral homes, coroners and medical examiners in our service area, is vital to carrying out the decisions of eligible organ and tissue donors in Georgia, in order to best serve grieving donor families for whom organ and tissue donation are the single comfort in an otherwise tragic situation, as well as patients in need of a transplant.
