Clan Egan or http://clanegan.org is for the descendants of Aodhagáin, hereditary Brehons (or Judges) in Connaught, Leinster and Ormond. This includes the anglicised names MacEgan, Egan, Eagan, Eagen and Keegan.
The purpose of the Clann Mac Aodhagáin web site is to provide a common repository for information concerning the MacEgan families in all their differing spellings.
