The Uniting Church Leichhardt Patrol is an initiative of the Queensland Synod and the Presbytery of the Downs of the Uniting Church in Australia. Covering 55,000 square kilometres: from Taroom through to Goondiwindi, the Western Downs and areas either side of the Leichhardt Highway.

The aim of the Patrol is to work towards the provision of Ministry, Care and encouragement to people in rural communities. This often includes working with and supporting other Christian Churches who are also active in the area.
