Fitness tracking apps are lifesavers, but they are also a pain at the same time. In order to get the most out of these apps, users are required to constantly input all their data from the food they eat to the exercises they perform. If only there was a fitness tracker that made things a lot simpler.
Temple is a new fitness tracker that aims to make things a whole lot easier for avid health fanatics. Activities are recorded with just a single tap, and users no longer have to waste precious time logging all their data for the day.
To get started, users should set their daily goals for fitness, fluids, and fuel. The fitness goal is dedicated to how many minutes users plan to workout, fluids is for the number of ounces that users wish to drink for the day, and fuel is the maximum number of calories that users want to consume.
The main screen features the three tracks and it is used to quickly log activity so all users have to do is just tap on a circle. For example, there are four fitness circles that include Quick, Light, Moderate and Intense. Just tap on the one that best describes the workout and that’s it.
The settings menu has many options that help make Temple fine tuned to users’ needs. If users go into the settings menu, they can rename the track and unit label, change the units, alter the workout time labels, and even adjust their goals. Additionally, another neat feature is that Temple has a coach built into the app that helps motivate users who need a little nudge.
There’s more to the app than just tracking fitness and health. Swiping to the left or right reveals two other screens that show overall progress along with today’s logged items.
Thanks to its well-designed and user-friendly interface, Temple makes it possible to track fitness quickly so users can form great health habits. While it’s not quite as detailed as other fitness trackers, and it doesn’t sync with other apps, it’s definitely worth keeping on the home screen for those busy days when it’s not possible to log every minute. It’s clear that Temple is designed for people on the go, and those willing to shell out a little cash for the convenience won’t be disappointed.
