Alien Invasion

Alien Invasion is a different take on the shoot-em-up genre. With ships floating by, you have to touch the ones to destroy -- but make sure you don't touch the ones that are carrying civilians (you can see them just below the ship). The gameplay changes a little over the 10 levels leading to some variation in the gameplay though not enough.

While the game is fairly simple, it's not a bad game, just needs a couple small tune-ups. The ships movement is very chunky which can easily lead to missing touches. While not a big deal, I think the game would look better with smooth movements.

At 99 cents, this is a good value. A simple game that easily provides a dollar worth of fun. With a few upgrades, it could be an even better game.
