A "gotta catch 'em all" joke seems appropriate here, even though we're talking animals in Rodeo Stampede and not pocket monsters. By now you've probably had plenty of rides, tamed some animals and built yourself a pretty nice zoo

But how can you be sure you've conquered everything the Savannah has to offer? We've played enough Rodeo Stampede that we can help answer that question for you. Follow our guide to the first environment you need to master and you'll be ready to tackle even more challenges before too long.

Buffalo

What:The first animal you meet in the Savannah is also one of the most nondescript. Not particularly fast or useful, though when you level up the habitat, buffaloes gain a charge ability right when you land on them that can help you out of tight jams.

When angry: Bucks and makes it harder for you to avoid obstacles. Pretty manageable as angry behaviors go, though.

Types of buffalo: Water Buffalo, Forest Buffalo, Cape Buffalo, Kerfuffle'o, Bison, and Diabuffalo.

Zebra

What:Only slightly more useful than the buffalo, you'll also start seeing these almost immediately. Faster than a buffalo but not much more hardy.

When angry: Bucks in a tricky, staccato pattern. That's a music term I hope I'm using correctly.

Types of zebra: Zebra, Brazeb, Candicorn, Elektro Zebra, and two more.

Elephant

What: Now this is more like it. Elephants are slow when you encounter them and get faster when you ride them. Plus they can smash other animals out of the way and can even be leveled up to smash through rocks.

When angry:Automatically throws you, which I guess is realistic considering it's an elephant and all.

Types of elephant: African Elephant, Mammoth, Earl of Phant, Tootyphant, Psychadelephant, and one more.

Ostrich

What: Let's hear it for flightless birds! The ostrich is already pretty quick, but it also has the one angered behavior that might prove to be a blessing instead of a curse.

When angry: Starts speeding up, getting faster and faster as it goes. Obviously useful, but also turns your run into white-knuckle time.

Types of ostrich: Ostrich, Celebirdy, Glam Rockstrich, Ostri Chevalier, Ostrich of Hearts, and Bosstrich (boss animal).

Giraffe

What:Thanks to its long neck, can throw you to places you couldn't normally reach, though you need to adjust to its stop and throw technique. Can also slam some smaller animals out of the way, so it's handy for getting through narrow spaces later in runs.

When angry: Throws you automatically like the elephant.

Types of giraffe: Giraffe, Girafferty, Taco Jirafa, Highballer, Giraxxus, UFG, and one more.

Vulture

What: Yep, you can ride birds too. Sits atop rocks until you lasso it, then flies really fast -- but also gets angry super quick as well.

When angry: Yo-yos up and down as it flies, potentially crashing you into obstacles it would otherwise zoom right over.

Types of vulture: Vulture, Egyptian Vulture, Viva Las Vulture, Vulture-on, and two more.

Lion

What: Though he's commonly called the king of the jungle, king of the savannah actually is probably closer to what he is in real life. Speedy and gets rid of animals in your way be eating them.

When angry: Eats you. In the words of Bill Paxton from Aliens, "Game over man!"

Types of lion: Lion, Dande Lion, Sabretooth Lion, Gryphon, and two more.
