Friday has rolled around again, and while the week is drawing to a close, we've still got one hot slice of content for you. And, like very week, we're going to finish things off with a roundup of all the best games that are currently on sale for iPhone and iPad.

It's a solid week when it comes to sales, and we had a bit of a hard time cutting down the list ti make it an easily digestible size. So there's a good chance you might think we've missed something. If that's the case, make sure you let us know in the comments all the way at the bottom of the article.

Jump'N'Shoot Attack - download for iOS (now 99c)

A wonderfully old school action platformer that's dripping with style and intriguing ideas. It's the sort of game that's going to make you grind your teeth when the going gets tough, and punch the air when you manage to push through the challenge. Solid controls and a thick-pixel art style complete the package.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath - download for iOS (now 99c)

Probably the best Oddworld game. It's a mixture of shooting, stealth, and planning, and you can still feel its influence on a lot of the FPS games that have come out since it was first released. This mobile port might not be perfect, but for less than a buck you're getting an incredible amount of game for barely any money.

Back to Bed - download for iOS (now 99c)

This one sees you trying to stop a sleepwalker from plummeting to their doom. There's a lot to like in this slightly surreal puzzler, and while it might have a few issues here and there, there's nothing game-breaking that's going to make you cry or smash your phone. If you liked Monument Valley it's well worth checking out.

The Scrungeon Depths - download for iOS (now 99c)

A wonderfully silly dungeon crawler that sees you delving underground to basically kill everything that moves. The levels here are procedurally generated, and there are some really clever tricks up the game's sleeve that keep things fresh and push you on to see more of what the madcap world has to offer.

The Frostrune - download for iOS (now $2.99)

A point and click adventure that's steeped in norse mythology. It's wonderfully well put together, and the story here is strong enough that even if you're not a super fan of the genre, it's likely that you're going to find something to enjoy. The icing on the cake is that the game is really good looking too.

The Bug Butcher - download for iOS (now 99c)

You can probably guess what this one's like from its name. It's an arcade, high-score-chase shooter that sees you slaughtering aliens in an attempt to save the world. It's not the subtlest game in the world, but if you're looking for some frenetic action, this one will do the job very nicely.

Shooting Stars! - download for iOS (now 99c)

Not all games are created equal. For example, this one features a cat that fires lasers out of its eyes. In other words, it's the greatest game ever. In reality though it's all about shooting stuff until it explodes. It's fast, it's simple, and did I mention that it features a laser-eyed cat?
