Friday has snuck up on us a bit this week, but that doesn't mean we're not prepared here at 148Apps. We've gone right ahead and rounded-up all the very best games that are currently on sale on the App Store. And there are some gems out there right now, so we hope you've been saving your money.

Iesabel - download for iOS (now 99c)
A gorgeous looking ARPG that's very much in the vein of Diablo and its ilk. For 99c there's so much content here that you really can't complain. If you like hacking, slashing, and having a lovely old time, then you should definitely pick this one up right away.

Ys Chronicles 2 - download for iOS (now 99c)
This is a super brilliant JRPG sequel. And you can get the first game in the series for the same price right now. That's hours and hours of gameplay to get your face into, and if you're a fan of the 16bit era of role playing, then this is exactly the sort of bargain that you should be grabbing as soon as you can.

Crowntakers - download for iOS (now 99c)
A wonderful, deeply strategic experience that bubbles over with intelligent ideas. It's hex-based, it's full of intriguing concepts, and there's a clever mix of RPG, roguelike, and plenty more here too. It looks great, it plays great, and it's an absolute steal for just 99c.

Death Squared - download for iOS (now $2.99)
A puzzle game about moving cubes around. There's death, puzzling, plans, and plenty more to get your teeth into. There's a story, some super tough levels that are going to make you scratch your head until it's raw and bloody. But in a great way, not a vile way like I accidentally made it sound.
Office Story - download for iOS (now free)
A game about running an office. But it's more interesting than that makes it sound. If you're into simulation games then there's so much here to enjoy that you're going to feel like you're in simmy heaven. And even if you don't like sims, there's a good chance that you're going to enjoy this as well.

Cereus - download for iOS (now $1.99)
This one's a mixture of tower defence ideas, smashed together with an arcade game, and a bunch of other bits and bobs. Even if you're sick of tower defenders, there's a lot here to love. Build, kill, protect, and do a lot of other stuff as well. It's the sort of light strategy game that's perfectly built for mobile.
Anomaly Warzone Earth - download for iOS (now $3.99)
A gorgeous looking tower offence game that plays around with the fundamentals of the genre brilliantly. It inspired a series of sequels, but there's definitely a lot to like about this original. There's lots of fighting, plenty of levels, and even a few years after it first came out, it still looks brilliant.
